Black eyebrows with a clear outline are absolutely a nightmare. Everything else is not so disastrous, but it is still better to fix mistakes. We will tell you what to avoid in eyebrow makeup.
1) Ignore the natural shape of the eyebrows.
If nature has awarded you with rounded eyebrows, and you are trying to "blind" from them a version with a broken bend, they will look unnatural on your face. Of course, you may not like the natural form, but you still should be guided by it.
2) Start drawing eyebrows from the "tails".
If you cannot do without color correction of the eyebrows, you should tint them with a pencil or shadows, starting somewhere in the middle - in the place where the eyebrows are thickest. Move from the middle to the "tails", and not vice versa, to get the most natural drawing of the outline.
3) Use the wrong brush.
Not every brush is suitable for applying eyebrow products - don't go oversized or fluffy. If you use brushes that are too thin, on the contrary, the lines will turn out too clear and sharp, so that the eyebrows will not look natural. The ideal tool for applying eyebrow products is a beveled edge brush with a hard bristle. A round brush is also useful for combing and “styling” your eyebrows in the right way.
4) Forget about shading.
You need to blend not only the blush and shadows but also the eyebrow products that you used to correct them. And it is very easy to do this if you have a special brush in your cosmetic bag. After applying powder or pencil, simply comb through your eyebrows with such a brush: the lines will immediately soften.
5) Drawing at the base of the eyebrows.
Here is a common mistake people make when chasing thick sable eyebrows. They try to expand them at the very beginning and thereby move their eyebrows closer to each other, which makes them look angry and stern. The eyebrows should start at the intersection with the line visually drawn up from the middle of the "wings" of the nose.
6) Using sticker stencils for eyebrows.
Some manufacturers produce special stencils that supposedly help to choose the shape of the eyebrows and pluck them evenly. They are popular, but in reality, they are not suitable for everyone.
